SUMMARY:Workshop: nanna's public 9.eqt-tours in tampere: wed\, fri and sun
DESCRIPTION:Nanna has already long closely cooperated with Dr. Kristine Sch
 erer\, curator of the Heidelberg Max Berk Textil Collection. Dr. Scherer i
 s the initiator and "motor" of the European Quilt Triennale (EQT). The hom
 e base of the the Europe-wide contemporary textile competition is at her m
 useum. An international jury reviews the call-for-entries of each triennal
 e. Nanna was invited to participate in the committees of the 8.EQT and the
  9.EQT. She has thus acquired much knowledge of the history of the EQT-com
 petition and gained insights into the textile artists now on show at the "
 9.EQT-Tampere" at Finlayson Area's Vooninki-exhibition space. The team at 
 Finlayson Area graciously invited the textile show to be shown in Finland 
 for the first time. Thank you! \n\nPlease join Nanna's public tours of the
  show depicting 45 contemporary fiber works from 11 European countries. Fi
 nland is represented with two pieces.\n\nThroughout the exhibition - from 
 (Sat) 17.1. until (Sun) 15.2.2026 - Nanna is glad to meet visitors at Voon
 inki\, who are interested in background-information as regards the competi
 tion or want to learn more about the works. Also she happily answers any q
 uestions relating to potential collaboration projects\, general inquiries 
 on the textile scene in southwestern Germany or the German-speaking Europe
 . Her own studio-workshop _nannatextiles in Stuttgart is celebrating its 1
 0th anniversary in November 2026. \n\nAdmission is free to both the exhibi
 tion as also the public tours.\nSundays:                        2:30 - ca.
