Ursula Karbacher will report on her professional activities, including the past work at the renown Textilmuseum St. Gallen Switzerland. Based on her concept for the exhibition „Looking for Fergger – Jobs in the Textile Industry“ the complexity of organizing a textile exhibition becomes clear.

„Looking for Fergger“ at the Appenzeller Volkskunde-Museum in Stein is part of the collective exhibition „Threaded“, in which eight East-Switzerland museums are included. www.iigfaedlet.ch

On 13 June (afternoon) a personal guided tour of the „Looking for Fergger“- exhibition is possible in Stein, Appenzell (CH). Joint rides will be organized from Stuttgart. At 6:30 pm the exhibition-scenographer Bernhard Duss will talk about his experiences as scenographer, costume designer and textile designer at Jakob Schlaepfer AG.
